Track your cycle. See the pattern.

Symcycle is a daily symptom tracker designed specifically for evaluating premenstrual symptom patterns. Each day, you'll rate 18 symptoms on a 1-6 severity scale. It takes about 60 seconds.

Over two or more tracked menstrual cycles, Symcycle evaluates your data using scoring methodology aligned with the Carolina Premenstrual Assessment Scoring System (C-PASS), helping you and your clinician determine whether your symptoms follow a true premenstrual pattern.

Mood swings, sudden sadness, or heightened sensitivity

That's it. You'll do this for all 18 symptoms each day, then mark your menstrual flow and tap Save. Under 60 seconds.

All data is stored locally on your device. Nothing is sent to a server. Nothing is shared. You control your data completely.

You can back up your data anytime from Settings, and export a printable clinician report whenever you need it.

This tracker implements scoring aligned with the Carolina Premenstrual Assessment Scoring System (C-PASS) methodology (Eisenlohr-Moul et al., 2017, American Journal of Psychiatry). Symcycle is an independent implementation and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the C-PASS developers. Results are for clinical discussion only and do not constitute a diagnosis. A minimum of two prospectively tracked cycles is recommended for meaningful pattern evaluation, with three or more cycles providing greater diagnostic confidence.

Insufficient Data

Track symptoms daily for at least 2 complete menstrual cycles to generate a meaningful analysis. The DSM-5-TR requires prospective daily ratings across a minimum of 2 symptomatic cycles for confirmatory evaluation, with 3 or more cycles recommended for greater confidence. Continue tracking -- your data is being saved.

How to use this tracker:

1. Each day, rate your symptoms on a 1-6 scale in the "Today" tab. 1 = Not at all, 6 = Extreme impact.

2. Mark your menstrual bleeding flow each day to help track cycle phases.

3. Save your entries daily. The app stores data on your device.

4. Use the "Calendar" tab to see your overall symptom patterns across the month.

5. After tracking for at least 2 complete cycles, the "Analysis" tab will show C-PASS assessment results comparing premenstrual and postmenstrual symptom patterns. Three or more cycles increase diagnostic confidence.

6. Use the "Export Data" button to print a professional report for your clinician.

This app is a screening tool. Results should be reviewed with your healthcare provider.
